Compiler for Linux

One thing I've to adapt when switching from windows to linux enviroment is to get familiar with the command prompt, even the only thing you want to do is program installation.

Actually I was trying to install kmoses (single electron simulator), for my final year project, so I just followed step-by-step procedures, but it didn't work. After several attempts, then only I realized I need a compiler! Hahaha...
