friendly ghost
Today, I was asked by my boss to find a solution for quick server recovery. I work in customer service department where fast solution is much needed especially during emergency.(total system breakdown)
Suddenly, I got an idea, why don't we use Symantec Norton Ghost? Not only it can provide the exact system restoration, but it can also eleminate all the fuss during system re-configuration. (You know what I mean if you are IT administrator).
So, basically what you have to do is backing up all your precious data into any media (CD, DVD, external hard drive, etc) , as long as the backup data doesn't share with your working physical hard drive.
Then, when the day comes, you just boot up your system from the backup media that you have created, and just follow step by step from the wizard, and you are done. That's all about it, as simple as ABC.
